POS Lab Manager

Location: Preferably Seattle, WA (Remote Considered)

HiPaaS is seeking a POS Lab Manager to oversee the operations, testing environments, and asset management of our Point-of-Sale (POS) lab. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with POS systems, be technically proficient across operating systems and networking, and bring a strong operational mindset to managing a high-functioning lab space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the POS lab and ensure operational readiness.

• Analyze and reproduce technology issues reported from stores.

• Provide a safe environment for technical support teams to conduct training.

• Support mobile device testing with dependencies on working Wi-Fi and SML capabilities.

• Support robust workflow, system integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing environments.

• Publish and maintain lab layout documentation.

• Implement an asset/inventory management tool to track all hardware assets used in the lab.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience managing POS systems in a lab environment.

• Proficiency with lab management best practices, including system configuration and environment setup.

• Familiarity with imaging tools and managing device configurations.

• Strong understanding of networking capabilities, including Wi-Fi and SML dependencies.

• Experience working with both Linux and Windows operating systems.

• Demonstrated experience in POS testing, issue reproduction, and integration validation.

• Ability to publish, maintain, and manage physical lab layout and documentation.

• Experience implementing or using asset/inventory management tools.

• Preferred location: Seattle, WA
