We started our journey by helping large payers to solve healthcare data and visibility issues. As we gained experience on real issues, we also blended the solutions with latest technologies like cloud, graphDB, boomi, python and kubernetes.
Healthcare industry is always behind the curve when it comes to adoption and so HiPaaS as concept was strange in early days.
Today we are solving complex EDI, FHIR and data issues in healthcare industry.

Sandeep Deokule
Founder & CEO
Sandeep has extensive experience in the healthcare industry and was awarded one the most successful healthcare startup CEOs in 2021. Sandeep founded HiPaaS Inc. with vision to fix healthcare data exchange and quality by using AI technology.
Before starting HiPaaS, Sandeep was Founder and CEO of DevCool Inc which was acquired by Healthcare Triangle (NASDAQ HCTI). DevCool’s goal was to help top US Hospitals implement and support Epic Systems. DevCool was ranked in Inc 5000 as fastest growing company. Prior starting DevCool, Sandeep worked for Deloitte Consulting and Oracle.
Shalini Puri
Professional Services
Shalini has worked in the IT field for thirty years. Shalini has experience in IT consulting and services in different industries including healthcare, security, and manufacturing. At HiPaaS, Shalini works with the engineering team and customers to ensure timely delivery and implementation. Prior to HipaaS, Shalini has worked at Easterseals, Aruba Networks, Websense, Innova and TCS
Betty Sittenfeld
PMO Project Management
Betty has been with HiPaaS since April 2021 focusing primarily on FHIR implementation projects. She has 15 years of experience in the Healthcare Industry providing technical support, business consulting and product expertise to customers. Before joining the HiPaaS team, she worked as an Implementation Consultant with Allscripts Healthcare, LLC. Her experience includes EHR and interface engine configuration, managing the implementation process from inception to completion and supporting external vendors. She focuses on building relationships and resolving issues that result in happy customers. She is passionate about Customer Experience and Success and shines in managing communication and expectations with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers. On a personal note, she has a BA in Modern Dance/Kinesiology from Denison University. Her passions include traveling to beautiful exotic beaches, working out, and spending time with family, friends, and her fur babies.
Kaustubh Vivek
CTO, Architecture
Kaustubh has been with HiPaaS since day 1 and has played various roles. He is hands-on software architect involved in the architecture, design, and implementation of HiPaaS Product at enterprise scale. He has been in the software industry since 2014 and has significant experience and expertise in application, integration, and enterprise architecture. Kaustubh has a master’s degree in computer science. He has been involved in various Implementation of HiPaaS for Interop and EDI customers.
Brian Vicente
CTO, Head of Engineering
Brian manages engineering, DevOps and R&D technologies for HiPaaS. Brian has worked in the IT field for over 25 years having performed senior engineering and management roles in various industries including, academic research, real-estate, pharmaceutical, and healthcare. “I always expose myself to learning new ideas and solutions in multiple areas especially within the healthcare field; that is my passion these days”, says Brian. Prior to working with HiPaaS, Brian worked at Verizon Communications (formerly Verizon Wireless) where he managed engineering team.
Aparna George
Product Manager
Aparna George has been with HiPaaS since 2018 and has led multiple HiPaaS customer implementations.
She has played diverse roles in technology and has been instrumental in driving the HiPaaS methodology of understanding the “why” and “how” of a solution besides the “when”. She brings in high energy and positivity to projects and interactions, and a call with Aparna is rarely without a hearty laugh.
She is a Computer Science Engineering major from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India and has lived and worked in India, Singapore and the U.S. She is an avid traveler looking for new nature-bound experiences. She follows her passions of blogging and organic gardening.

Vrushali leads all HiPaaS implementations. She is based in Pune office and manages all tech deliveries from India. Prior to HiPaaS, she was tech manager at Supriya associates and has 10+ years of experience.
